czwartek, 29 września 2016

We are pleased to invite you to the regional workshop "Cost Efficiency of Consumption-Based Cost Allocation and Consumption Information for Heating, Cooling and Hot Water in Eastern Countries of the EU" which will take place on 14 November 2016 in Warsaw.

This is the fifth in a series of regional workshops being held this year across Europe to support the implementation of metering and billing provisions of the EED. The workshops are to be a forum for discussion at regional level of how best to take implementation forward, and address issues raised by stakeholders. The preliminary agenda will be continiously updated.

empirica, a  research and consulting firm in Bonn, Germany, has been commissioned by the European Commission DG ENERGY to analyse best practice across Europe regarding individual metering for heating, and to develop guidelines for Member States to implement Articles 9-11 of the Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/EU (Study - ENER/C3/2013-977). The focus of work is the consumption of heating, cooling and hot water, and on the opportunities provided by heat metering and heat cost allocation technology to provide consumers with feedback on their consumption, and support them in saving energy. Further information can be found on the project website:
